Building on its reputation as a vinyl flooring specialist, Gerflor, has added to its stunning range of floorcoverings by introducing the Nera collection – with two portfolios including a brand new textile backing.

Consisting of the Tex, Tex Plus, Nera Classic and Pro, the multi-layered floorcoverings are available in 2m and 4m wide sheets and boast the group T abrasion rating for durability. Treated with PUR, a polyurethane treatment, and Sanosol®, an antibacterial and fungicidal treatment, the range is hygienic and easy to maintain.

The Nera Tex and Tex Plus are Gerflor's stars in this new range; they encompass a brand new flooring concept. For real comfort underfoot, Nera Tex and Tex Plus feature a 100% textile backing which allows the products to be loose laid, removing the need for expensive subfloor preparation, speeding installation and reducing overall costs. Nera Tex is available in two designs - Allover and Wood - while Nera Tex Plus is offered in three designs - Cementum, Rustic and Wood. The floorcoverings are the ideal choice for residential and commercial use such as in retirement homes, nursing homes, offices and shops.

Onto the next addition, reinforced with a transparent wearlayer, Nera Pro is ideal for medium to heavy traffic areas such as shops, offices, schools and retirement homes. Available in two stunning designs - Ardoise and Confetti - the floorcovering has excellent indentation resistance and recovery. Nera Classic is a foam-backed floorcovering which is offered in three designs - Gravel, Roma and Wood - and features sound insulation of 8dB, the perfect choice for heavy traffic areas such as hospitals and schools.
