Gerflor Relaunches Tarasafe Flooring Ranges

A stunning range of new colours and themes has been unveiled by Gerflor to revitalise its leading Tarasafe safety floorcovering range.

The extended palette of colours ensures Tarasafe’s position in a marketplace where demand for  floorcoverings is growing steadily. Tarasafe creates slip-resistant finish by incorporating hard-wearing carborundum particles into the wearlayer.

New colours are available in four colour collections: Urban, for a chic, stylish look; Spicy to give a warm, exotic feel; Fresh for clean whites, watery blues and greens; and Natural, with a choice of sand, earth and foliage themes.

With a wide choice of thickness and performances the Tarasafe range ensures flexibility when specifying safety floorings. The range is divided into three categories that include several impressive additions.

Tarasafe basic collection features the decorative lona range and the Tarasafe SparClean® collection includes the brand new Tarasafe Uni (a solid colour palette) and the top-of-the-range Tarasafe Ultra CFT featuring the unique combination of a decorative design, Sparclean® surface treatment and a 16db Very High Density acoustic foam backing.

Tarasafe Ultra CFT is particularly practical in busy work areas; for example, school science laboratories, where noise reduction as well as protection from slips are priorities.

All Tarasafe products are HSE-compliant, having undergone extensive industry-standard wet pendulum and surface roughness tests to determine their slip resistance.

Gerflor’s unique SparClean® permanent surface treatment creates  a smooth surface between the carburundum particles thereby reducing dirt traps, and reducing the cost of maintenance over the product’s whole lifecycle. Gerflor’s anti-bacterial and fungicidal Sanosol® surface treatment can be added to ensure maximum hygiene, especially in public areas such as hospitals and schools.

To meet increasing demand for its high-quality, long-lasting Tarasafe floorcovering, Gerflor has invested significantly in a new production line and has earmarked the extra  manufacturing capacity specifically for the UK market.
