A 1 – Gerflor products have been tested with adhesives from most of the major Flooring Adhesive manufacturers. Consult product specific installation sheets. 
A 2 – Different product types require different methods. Consult product specific maintenance sheets. 
A 3 – Gerflor Taraflex Sport Floors are true multi-purpose floors suitable for most sporting & non-sporting activities. For further Information please contact Gerflor Technical Department. 
A 4 – Subfloors must be Flat, Smooth, Clean, Sound & Dry as per with BS8203 Code of practice for Installation of Resilient Floor Coverings & BS8204 Code of Practice for Screeds, Bases and In-Situ Floorings. 
A 5 – All Gerflor floor coverings must be installed fully in accordance with BS8203 Code of practice for Installation of Resilient Floor Coverings and the relative humidity within the subfloor must be below 75% relative humidity when tested with a Hygrometer. If the subfloor is to wet this can be overcome by applying a proprietary surface damp proof membrane or using Isolsport (when installing Sport M + & Performance + only) 
A 6 –
Yes (except Sport Performance or Combisport), but it is imperative that the under-floor heating is switched off 48 hours prior to the floor covering installation commencing and remains off for at least 48 hours after the installation is complete. Gradually increase the temperature over a number of days by only a few degrees per day until the desired room temperature is reached. The temperature should never exceed the floor covering industry agreed maximum of 27°C at the underside of the floor covering (the adhesive line). During the period of the decommissioning of the under-floor heating system, an alternative heating source should be provided, if required, to ensure that the area of installation is kept at a minimum temperature of 18°C.
A 7 - Generally we recommend hot welding however cold welding may be acceptable for certain products. Consult product specific Installation Sheet. 
A 8 – Yes, Contract products carry a 7 or 10 year warranty against manufacturing defects. See contract brochure or sample cards. 
A 9 - Many of our products have factory applied polyurethane treatments and do not require polishing. Consult product specifications or cleaning sheets.
